Description
Driveway Chip is a grey chip used predominantly on driveways, once the base course has been
applied and compacted, and ranges from 10-16 mm in size. Although this hard-wearing chip
is called driveway chip, it is also used on gardens and paths.
If you are using it as a decorative chip on the garden, we recommend putting weed mat down
before application to stop the weeds coming through.
For driveways: Ensure that your base
course has been applied and compacted.
Once that has been done, a covering of at
least 2cm will be required.
For paths: This will be a personal
preference, we would suggest at least 2cm
depth also
When this product is supplied in bulk and bags, fines maybe present. Hosing the product or rainfall
will wash these to the bottom.
