For this project, we were engaged by Firth Concrete to transform their front entrance courtyard. It was a complete landscape transformation with a new paved courtyard, block walls, lawns and gardens. It is safe to say, we are pretty impressed with the end result!
This was a project that incorporated strengths from both our hard and soft landscaping crews. Bradley and his team worked hard to demolish the existing courtyard landscape so they had a blank canvas to transform the final product – there was lots of hard work in the early stages to create the end result (as seen in the photos).
To begin, there was a vast amount of demolition work. We had our machine operators on hand to see to this. Next came the earthworks and hard landscapers to prep the site, dig out tree pits and spread the topsoil to make good ground for the paving and blockwork to follow.
Our hard landscaping team displayed their skill with the construction of a stand out masonry wall, variety of paving, gravel paths and edging. The front block wall is a prominent feature in this landscape and reflects a standout street appeal. The new paving has made a significant impact on the finish of this landscape design. We worked with our client Firth who supplied a selection of their latest paving range to be part of their new courtyard. The selection of pavers is compromised of varying tones and shapes to complement a sleek and modern finish.
It was all finished off with our soft landscape team who planted the gardens, laid the ready lawn, spread the mulch and perfected the final touches to the completed project!
The photos showcase a great deal of skill, hard work and professionalism. This landscape is now an inviting space for clients and employees at Firth Concrete.
The key elements for the landscape project were:
